To maintain and improve the UK's rail infrastructure, Network Rail has to carry out regular planned engineering work. The work is normally done at weekends, on bank holidays and after 10pm during the week, but it may also affect our services at other times.

Alterations to late night Southeastern services between Monday 24 and Friday 28 June

Routes affected:
Various Southeastern routes

Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing various lines.

Monday to Thursday

  • After 23:55, buses replace trains between Maidstone East & Ashford / Canterbury West.

Tuesday (AM) and Wednesday (AM)

  • After 01:15, buses replace the trains between Slade Green & Dartford.


  • After 00:45 (Fri), a bus replaces the last train from London St Pancras to Ramsgate between Dover and Ramsgate.

Thursday (AM) and Friday (AM)

  • A bus will replace the last train between Slade Green and Dartford.
